TOWNSHIP MASTER PLAN. San Pierre, Indiana. 2005-2006

For this tiny hamlet of 150 on a curve in US Higway 421 between Indianapolis and Chicago
the Institute for Small Town Studies is developing a comprehensive township master plan for
future development: including new landscaped entryways into town, streetscape lighting in town,
signage and identity packages, walking and biking trail systems, a revitalized Town Commons,
improvements to the WPA-era Central Park, location of a new grocery store, and restoration
of a historic corner bank for use as the San Pierre History Museum and Community Center.
